Overview

The Level II Early Childhood Educator Certificate prepares individuals for more advanced roles in early childhood and youth-serving programs. The program builds on foundational knowledge by strengthening skills in communication, child development, and professional practice. Students gain a broader understanding of how to support children across multiple age groups while working effectively with families and communities. Upon completion, students are prepared to take on increased responsibility within early childhood settings and support high-quality, developmentally appropriate programs.

Career Options

This certificate prepares students to enter into jobs as nannies; infant, toddler, and preschool assistant teachers; or early childhood education paraprofessionals.
