Honors Program Scholarship Application

Scholarship Requirements

1. Completed Weatherford College Honors Scholarship application.
2. A minimum 3.33 cumulative GPA, high school or college.
3. One Academic Letter of Recommendation.

The deadline for scholarship applications is June 1, and students should hear about their scholarship within a week of June 1.

If selected for an Honors Program Scholarship, you agree to the following:

1. Enroll in Weatherford College Honors Program.
2. Register for and complete at least one Honors course per long semester.
3. Engage in at least one service learning event, extra-curricular activity, or work one of the Honors Program events per long semester. Honors Program coordinator will coordinate this. 
4. Maintain a cumulative and semester GPA of 3.3.
5. Enroll in 12 credit hours or more (full time student) per semester.
6. Attend honors events as schedule permits.
7. Attend honors seminar class.
8. Attend Weatherford College for the fall and spring semesters. If I do not complete both semesters, I agree to repay any scholarship monies received.

Please note: This scholarship cannot be combined with Weatherford College Foundation Scholarship awards.

After qualifying for this scholarship, the student may apply each year for this same scholarship.
