Applications are accepted from January 1 to May 31 each year.
Acceptances will be sent via email (to the email listed on your application) 4 to 6 weeks after the close of the application cycle.
Submit Weatherford College application via Coyote Recruit website and official transcripts to the Office of Student Services. Student must meet TSI requirements.
Prerequisite courses
- BIOL 1406
- ENGL 1301
- MATH: must be a 3 credit hour college level math course
(examples include MATH 1332 or MATH 1314)
All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better.
Clinical Experience
Complete a minimum of 5 hours working or shadowing in a veterinary clinic. Hours must be completed under the supervision of a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Veterinarian (DVM). Clinical experience hours should be recorded on the Clinical Experience Record and should be signed by the supervisor.
