Application and Selection Requirements:

1. Contact Tonya Piehl (817-598-6452) for an advising session.
    
2. After advising session, submit application, copies of transcripts, and proof of Hepatitis B series to Tonya Piehl (from December 1st-April 30th each year)
    
3. Applications will be scored in May (60% of score)
   
   
   1. Prerequisite and general requirement courses will be scored as follows: 
      A=4 points, B=3 points, C=1 point
      
      
   2. Points awarded for prior degree:
      Master’s=8 points, Bachelor’s=6 points, Associate’s=4 points
      
      
   3. Up to 2 points awarded for healthcare work experience (direct patient care with letter from employer)
      
      
4. Interviews for top scoring applicants conducted in May-June (40% of score)
   
   
5. The 24 applicants with highest score will be accepted for each fall semester.
