As part of the 120 credits required for a bachelor’s degree, students complete 45 credit hours (“Prescribed Electives”) in an occupational area or technical field, thus enabling them to design a degree path that aligns with their personal and professional goals, maximizes technical education credits, and rounds out content expertise.

Students who require credits to complete their Prescribed Electives choose from one of the concentration areas listed below when they are admitted to the program. The concentration is chosen in consultation with the Program Director and pre-approval is required. Note that some concentration area classes may have prerequisites or may be offered in a certain semester, sequence, or modality depending on the subject matter and instructor.
