It is required by the State of Texas to take the PAA prior to taking your TSIA2 test. Why?

  • Learn what’s on the TSI Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) and why doing well matters.
  • Find out if you are exempt from taking the TSI Assessment 2.0.
  • Try your hand (and brain!) on some sample items.
  • Get the details about testing and support for your desired institution.
  • Receive your certificate for completing this mandatory activity.

When completing the PAA demographic information, you only need to fill out the required information. When it asks for your student ID, you can leave this blank. The first question you will be asked when you take the TSIA2 will be if you completed the PAA. Please bring proof of your PAA to the testing center when you go in to take the test. This does not have to be a hard copy but can be the email on your phone.

Complete the PAA.

Face-to-Face

Before coming in to test, you are required to do a Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA). Note: You are not required to do the practice exams. You need to create an account and then click on the third item. Texas Success Initiative Pre-Assessment 2.0 (PAA). Please use a computer to complete the PAA as it does not work well onc cell phones.

When you come in to test, we will need to see the email confirming this was done. The cost of the TSIA2 is $25.
