WC sonography students must complete a certain number of clinic hours practicing their ultrasound technique on pregnant volunteers. To schedule an appointment, you: must be under the care of an OB/GYN physician and previously received an ultrasound from that facility, AND be between 16 weeks and 36 weeks pregnant.

2D ultrasounds are free to the public. Please plan to be at the college for approximately one hour as two students and an OB/GYN registered ultrasound tech will scan your baby. We cannot give you a diagnosis. We offer this service to help train our students and are extremely grateful you are helping us advance their education.

3D/4D spaces are limited and cost a nonrefundable $50. You must be between 28 and 32 weeks in order to have a 3D/4D ultrasound performed. Please keep in mind that we cannot accommodate all 3D/4D requests. We will dedicate approximately 10 minutes to obtain 3D/4D images. Good 3D/4D ultrasound images are dependent on baby’s position, amount of amniotic fluid around the face, as well as a number of other factors. Please, be aware that we cannot guarantee obtaining great images.

Lab time varies by semester. Click here to see if appointment times are available. (They haven’t released a schedule for the upcoming semester yet.)
