Every spring and summer semester (February- July), WC sonography students are enrolled in an OB/GYN course that has a lab component. The college offers free ultrasounds during this time for the community!
Spring 2025
From March 3, 2025 to April 21, 2025, OB ultrasound appointments will be available on Monday mornings only. Appointment times are 8:55 a.m., 9:55 a.m. & 10:55 a.m.
If there are no listed appointment times on Monday mornings, this indicates that we are full that week. You will have to look at the following Mondays for an opening. The appointment slots available are based on the student’s lab time and instructor availability.
You must meet these requirements in order to schedule an appointment:
- Be under the care of an OB/GYN physician and have had an ultrasound performed for this pregnancy at that facility
- At the time of your appointment, be between 18-36 weeks pregnant. If you will be under 18 weeks at the time of your appointment, your appointment will automatically be cancelled (an e-mail will be sent to alert you).
If you are between 28-32 weeks, we will try to obtain a cute 3D/4D image for you (if baby is in a good position & you are interested). Please note, we will only be able to dedicate approx. 3-5 minutes to obtain 3D/4D images for you. We will always print images, look at gender (unless you ask us not to) & provide an est. fetal weight. Please, plan to be at the college for approximately 1 hour as 2 students & an OB/GYN registered sonographer scan your baby.
