The Department of Institutional Effectiveness at Weatherford College includes the offices of Institutional Research and Institutional Assessment and QEP.  The primary functions of the office include planning, assessment, data analytics, managing course evaluations, and SACSCOC accreditation.  The College engages in ongoing, integrated, and institution-wide research-based planning and evaluation processes that include systematic reviews of the College Mission, goals, and outcomes and result in continuous improvement of programs and services.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) assists and supports the college in developing, implementing, and assessing its Strategic Plan. This web page serves as a portal to a description of the college planning process, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) data, links to the online assessment and planning management system (Watermark), and SACSCOC guidelines and resources. The IE office supports the data needs of academic and non-academic departments for planning and self-assessment purposes, establishes planning timelines, and conducts ongoing training.
