The Associate of Applied Science in Radio & Television Broadcasting program is constantly evolving to meet the demands of today’s digital media landscape. While grounded in essential broadcast principles, the program emphasizes digital media production, multi‑platform content creation, and production workflows.
Students gain hands‑on experience in audio and video production, digital storytelling, content creation, editing, and media operations using industry‑relevant tools and technologies. Coursework and projects are designed to mirror real‑world production environments—ranging from studio and live event production to online and social media content delivery.
Students develop essential technical skills alongside creative problem‑solving, collaboration, and professional communication—preparing them for content creation across television, streaming platforms, sports media, social media, and digital distribution channels.
Graduates leave with a strong foundation in broadcast and digital media production, positioning them for employment in content production, media operations, and digital media support, as well as internships or continued specialized training.
