Overview

Weatherford College’s Associate of Applied Science in Radio & Television Broadcasting equips students with the foundational knowledge, technical concepts, and professional practices essential to the broadcast and digital media industries. This program covers the principles of audio and video production, media writing, content planning, and broadcast operations through structured coursework, project‑based assignments, and applied learning activities. Students develop technical literacy, creative problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication skills essential in a variety of media-based careers. Our students actively demonstrate competencies in media production, storytelling, and communication, enabling them to gain entry‑level opportunities in the field. Our graduates leave with a strong foundation for pursuing entry‑level media positions, internships, or further specialized training in broadcasting, production, and digital content creation.
