Overview

The Social Sciences Department at Weatherford College boasts an exceptional set of faculty that are ready to provide you an exceptional and unique experience in the field of Political Science (or as they call it here in Texas, Government). Coming from an array of backgrounds that include work in the White House, law, and more you will emerge having an understanding of Federal and Texas government that is both practical and academic. You will be well prepared for your upper-division courses in at the university level. An emphasis is placed not only on enhancing student's skill sets and understanding of politics, but also in the opportunity to work one-on-one with their instructors in a manner that is rare in both big universities and larger community college systems.
