Overview

Do you need computer skills to get a job? Whether you are new to computers or have used them in the past this program will assist you in increasing your skill set. The program is designed for the novice computer user who wants to learn basic computer skills for today’s workplace, specifically Microsoft Excel®.

Computer Skills for Business courses include:

  • ITSW.1045 – Microsoft Excel for Business 54 contact hours

Requirements

Applicants must complete the Computer Skills for Business program application BEFORE they can be admitted into the program and are eligible for registration. If under 18, Minor Consent is required and must be completed then uploaded with the application.

Career Options

Students will learn components of a typical computer system; build keyboarding skills, create, format, edit and enhance a document, manage files and folders, email basics and how to navigate the web.

Whether you are new to computers or have used them in the past this program will assist you in increasing your skill set.

Related Programs

Student wishing to further their training may be interested in the Bookkeeping & QuickBooks program. They may also wish to further their career and education by enrolling in the Accounting Certificate or Accounting Degree programs offered at Weatherford College.

Scholarships

Funding assistance through the Workforce Education Grant and Weatherford College Foundation Scholarship for Workforce Education may be available for eligible applicants, until funds are depleted. This program does not qualify for FAFSA.
