WC, UNTHSC sign agreement expanding pathways for students
Top administrators from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth visited Weatherford College on Thursday to sign the college’s latest transfer agreement.
WC President Tod Allen Farmer and UNTHSC President Sylvia Trent-Adams inked the new agreement, which provides additional educational pathways for certificates, undergraduate programs and graduate programs for WC students. The new agreement also gives WC students the option to take courses at WC and UNTHSC concurrently.
“Umbrella agreements such as these allow students to complete their associate and bachelor's degrees but continue to move into graduate-level programs across the university,” said Dr. Shannon Ydoyaga, WC’s executive vice president of academic services. “Weatherford College is excited to partner with the UNTHSC and looks forward to future program offerings to serve our students and the community at large.”
