Supporters of Weatherford College and Coyote athletics have a rare opportunity to

The Weatherford College Foundation and The Den are partnering to host The Coyote Cup for the first time in the tournament's 26-year history. Proceeds from the event will support both NIL opportunities for WC student-athletes and the foundation's mission of providing scholarships and other assistance to WC students.
Maddux is widely considered one of the greatest pitchers in baseball history. During his 23-year Major League Baseball career, he compiled 355 victories, won four consecutive National League Cy Young Awards earned 18 Gold Glove Awards, was selected to eight All-Star Games and helped lead the Atlanta Braves to a World Series championship in 1995. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
"We are really excited and grateful to have Greg join our event,” said WC Athletic
Director Jeff Lightfoot. “He is no doubt one of the greatest players in MLB history!
I can't think of a better way to introduce the community to our NIL efforts and support
our student-athletes.”
Organizers encourage alumni, community members and sports fans to participate in the
auction before bidding closes Sept. 30.
