National Championships
Weatherford College team roper Cashton Weidenbener recently brought home a national championship from the 2025 College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming. In its distinguished program history, the WC rodeo team has produced five individual national champions and one women’s team national championship in 2022.
National championships are a mark of excellence at the highest levels of collegiate athletics. At Weatherford College, these national championships are just one of several manifestations of an institutional culture of excellence. We had a record number of 61 academic All-American athletes this year at Weatherford College. Our student athletes succeeded academically at even higher levels than our general student population.
