Weatherford College works to meet information requests in compliance with state and federal laws. To the extent possible, requests are handled in the order they are received. By law, Weatherford College has 10 business days to determine whether or not to seek an Attorney General’s ruling regarding information that may be excluded from public disclosure. The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts Transparency Stars program recognizes local governments for going above and beyond in their transparency efforts.  Weatherford College has chosen to participate in the Transparency Stars program in the areas of Traditional Finances and Debt Obligations.  The Traditional Finances star was awarded to WC in 2020, and the Debt Obligations star was awarded to WC in 2024.
