Veterans are welcomed and encouraged to communicate to the Veterans' Counselor, any special circumstances of disability accommodations you may need.

Military veterans who are new students or are transferring to Weatherford College need to complete all applicable items in the New Student Checklist and provide any documents needed by the WC Veteran's Office. You can submit all documents and correspondence to veterans@wc.edu.

Important Information: Under the new regulations of the GI Bill® (Chapter 33), beginning August 1st, 2009, Active Duty Personnel will have the opportunity to transfer benefits to dependents. Additional documents will be required. Please contact Tammy Peters for more information.

VA Withdraw Policy and Return of VA Funds
  • If a student officially withdraws, the date the student last attended is the effective date.
  • If a student is administratively withdrawn or stops attending without officially withdrawing, the actual last date of attendance will be determined and reported.
  • If a student completes the term with all “F” and/or non-punitive grades, then the actual last date of attendance for each course is reported and, if required, terminate the student for unsatisfactory progress.
